i am trying to figure out how many years of friendship thirty birthdays minus 7th grade soccer is.

maybe, it would be better to count in memories.
lets see;  7th grade soccer, 8th grade soccer, painting your white shoes every color of the rainbow(much better), mr van. teaches us art, do-it-yourself homecoming dance preparations, lots of ska mxpx and joeyrumor shows.  college and chinese dinner dates, comet showers in snow pants on soccer fields, an art studio in a barn loft, bad ideas to swim in cornerstone festival's "lake", good ideas to skank and listen to too much music late at night.  two weddings and marriage to the best men we know, day trip to chicago with a toddler and baby, conversations about life family art and love.
i believe it equals, 17 years.  yes, many many years!
